Connect Threshold Money to Claude to ask about your finances or update your workspace in plain language.

What you can do

Once connected, ask Claude things like:

“What's my net worth right now?”
“How much did I spend on groceries last month?”
“What's my biggest investment position?”
“How am I tracking toward my emergency fund?”
“Create a retirement goal with my IRA accounts.”
“Group my Betterment accounts together.”
“Track my savings rate on the canvas.”
“Set a $600/month budget for dining and put all my Amazon purchases in a new Amazon category.”

Claude reads the same numbers shown in the app. Goals, groups, calculations, and budgets created through Claude appear on your canvas. Threshold Money presents the math for educational purposes only. It is not financial advice.

Before you start

At least one account connected via Plaid, or a manual account you've added.
The latest version of the Claude app (desktop or web), where custom connectors live.

How to connect

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Enter the server URL:

Click Connect. You'll be taken to a Threshold Money sign-in page.
Sign in and approve access. You'll return to Claude with the connector enabled.

Sign-in uses OAuth. Claude never sees your password. You can revoke access from your Threshold Money account or Claude's connector settings.

What Claude can access

Claude can read your balances, transactions, holdings, net worth, spending by category, and goal progress, and it can act on your canvas (goals, groups, calculations, budgets, categorization rules, manual accounts, and canvas content). It receives only the data returned for your request. It cannot see your other Claude conversations, move money, or make trades.
